”It is hard to be a Swede but someone has to be” was a text on one of Linnea's T-shirts.
We understand that she had a great heart for Sweden - her mother´s homeland.
For us it was a great pleasure to have met her both in the US and in our home in Sweden.
Among other things we got the opportunity to make Swedish lingonberry jam together with her. Linnea´s mother had told her about that jam and how to make it.
She also got opportunities to visit places and meet people that she had heard about and take a part of Swedish living and we know that she appreciated this period in 1990.
We also know when Margit arrived to the US Linnea took care of her and helped her in the new life in NY.
We will always remember her for her kindness and warm heart.
