Obituary of Jessie Clark Shaw

JESSIE CLARK SHAW - On March 17, 2021, 91 years of age, longtime resident of the Northport-East Northport area.

Loving wife of Arthur D. Shaw, Jr. Beloved mother of Meridith (Seth) Rubenstein, Tiffany (Aaron) Thomas, Candace (Mark) Thompson and the late Arthur D. Shaw, III. Cherished grandmother of Grayson Rubenstein, MacKenzie Rubenstein, Alexandra Rubenstein, Sierra Rubenstein, Daniel Rubenstein, Courtney Thompson, Kyle Thompson, & Ashley Thompson. Fond sister of Thomas (Alice) Clark, the late Daniel, the late Robert, the late Arthur & the late MaryAlice. Dear aunt of Karin Safulko, Michael Nardone, Nora Stroud, David Shaw, Diane Hess, Sandra Reardon, Andrew Shaw, Arthur B. Clark, Dorothy Webman, & Marcia Webman.

Over 75 years of service to the Junior League. Deacon & Elder of First Presbyterian Church of Northport as well as the Director of Children's Ministries. Longtime member of Huntington Club. Worked as a Security Analyst on Wall Street right out of high school and later in life as the Lancôme Counter Manager at what would eventually become Macy's in Commack, NY.

Visiting will take place on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Avenue, Northport, from 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Closing prayers will be shared by Pastor Rachel Vione of First Presbyterian Church of Northport at 4:30 PM and 8:30 PM. A private cremation will follow.
