Obituary of James L. Ward

James L. Ward long time resident of Centerport, retired NYPD Chief and World Trade Center responder passed away peacefully on Oct.10. Surrounded by his wife of 53 years Mary, loving sons James Jr. (Allison), Matthew (Diana) and Brian (Yuki) Ward. Cherished grandfather to Madigan, Caitlin, Johanna and Nicole. Dearest brother to Patricia Healy, the late Carol McNallen and Marguerite D’Amico. Treasured uncle to many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation at Nolan Funeral Home, 5 Laurel Ave, Northport, NY 11768, Wednesday, 2-5 and 7-9 PM. Cremation private. Burial and Celebration of Life at a later date.
