Doug was always a fun and jovial person, he always brightened the mood of those around him. Attached is a photo of him from the yearly Wall Street Race which he was an integral part of at our company.
My sincere condolences to friends and family.

I'm proud to have been bridesmaid at their wedding. Sue and I were roommates at American Academy of Dramatic arts, and spent a summer driving from NYC to California.
She adored Doug as did I. A beautiful match and a wonderful life cut short.

I worked with Doug at AIG - he was one of my favorite people. Someone you could always count on. Someone you could always laugh with. I am so sorry to hear of his loss and of his wife Susan. He will be missed.

Wow. Just heard of the passing of 2 great folks: Doug and Suzie. How crazy is this. I knew them as long time customers & dare I say it friends of our former family business Fort Hill Nursery in Huntington. They were a couple of characters. Suzie and her matter of fact way and Doug and his easy going pestering (I said with love). Again: wow. Sorry to all their family and close friends.
Love Patti Aebisher on behalf of the Aebisher and Fort Hill Nursery family.
Rest in peace my friends. Together forever.

I remember meeting Douglas while at his Brother Steve's installation as Deacon. During the reception he spent time talking and entertaining my young son, Michael. He told him jokes and kept him occupied so my wife and I could eat. He was quick with a smile and very upbeat. Condolences to his Family on their loss of both Douglas and his wife Susan. May They Rest In Peace.

One of my favorite people in the world. We had so many wonderful laughter filled moments at AIG over decades of years working so closely together. The world definitely has a void without him

I had the pleasure of working at AIG along with Doug. I can’t count the number of laughs we shared. He was a terrific guy and I’m proud to call him my friend. I’m heartbroken over this terrible tragedy that happened to Doug & Susan. They were a match made in Heaven & now they will share eternity together as it should be. Love ya Doug! Rest In Peace my friend! You will be missed by all who knew you.
