Carol was my cousin and I will miss her dearly. When we were growing up our families shared practically every holiday together. My family either headed to Long Island or her's out to us in New Jersey. I also loved visiting them in Ft. Montgomery at the summer cabin, spending time at the cabin, lounging on the large boulder right outside the cabin door and swimming in Cragston reservoir. What a treat that was!. The water was deep but my Uncle Henry made sure everyone was safe. Oh what an adventure to change into our suits behind the bushes!
Carol and I lost touch in later years but thankfully reconnected later in life. I flew out from Arizona to enjoy time with her in Florida, visit and reconnect with my cousins and family in Long Island and take trips to Montauk and Massachusetts. She even came out and spent time with me in Northern Arizona during the summer of 2012. I've never known anyone so positive and outgoing. Carol, aka 'Smiley', surely lived up to her nickname! Never a complaint from her. Sadly, my world is now much smaller without her.

She was my dear sister and a friend for life. We shared so many memories from summers at the ocean to skiing in the winters in Vermont. How lucky we were to have such loving parents. They were loved by so many. Some of my favorite memories were of our summers in upstate Fort Montgomery near Bear Mountain. There we lived the woods and swam in lakes and reservoirs. One of our best moments were of sitting on a boulder on Friday nights waiting for my Dad to honk for us. We would run down a hill to meet him. We loved him so. I will love you and miss you forever. Sis Lois
